Reviews & Testimonials Policy

1. About this policy

This policy explains how RAJ Property Consultants NI Ltd (“RAJ”, “we”, “us”) handles the reviews and testimonials that students and customers share with us, the reward we sometimes offer for testimonial content, and the consents we ask for before we publish or use what you send. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.

2. Reviews must reflect a genuine experience

Reviews and testimonials must reflect your own genuine, honest experience of our service. We do not invent reviews, and we do not change the substance of what you tell us. We may decline or remove content that is not genuine, or that is abusive, unlawful, off-topic or misleading. Honest feedback is welcome whether it is positive or not.

3. The £30 Testimonial Content Reward

From time to time we offer a £30 Testimonial Content Reward for testimonial content we select. This is a reward for providing usable testimonial content — it is not cashback, and it is not a reduction of any rent or accommodation charge.

Selection is based on the authenticity of the experience, the suitability of the content and whether it is usable for our purposes (for example clarity, quality and relevance) — it is never based on how positive the review is. Submitting a review or testimonial does not guarantee selection or payment; a reward is only made where we choose to use the content and the person has given the consents set out below.

4. The consents we ask for

We treat consent as four separate permissions. You can give some and not others, and giving one does not imply the others:

• Genuine experience — confirming that your review reflects your own real, honest experience;
• Website Approval — permission to publish your written review on our website and social media;
• Advertising Permission — permission to use your photo, video, name or voice in our marketing and advertising;
• Editing for length and formatting — permission to edit for length or formatting without changing the meaning of what you said.

5. How consent is recorded

Each consent you give is recorded together with the date it was given. Website Approval is kept separate from Advertising Permission: allowing us to publish your written review on our website or social media does not, on its own, allow us to use your photo, video, name or voice in marketing or advertising. We rely only on the specific permissions you have actually given.

6. Disclosing paid testimonials

Where we use a testimonial publicly and a reward was given for it, we disclose that clearly — for example with a label such as “Paid testimonial contribution” shown alongside the content. A reward is never conditional on the review being positive.

7. Withdrawing your consent

You can withdraw any of your consents at any time by emailing us at rajpropertyconsultantsni@gmail.com. When you do, we will stop the relevant future use and remove the content from places we control as soon as we reasonably can. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did lawfully before you withdrew it, and copies already shared or published elsewhere (for example material that has been reshared) may be outside our control.
